We are hiring a Senior Analyst – Equity Research (GCC & Middle East Banking) for a confidential client in the global banking and financial research domain. This role offers direct exposure to GCC and Middle East banking markets, working closely with international investment banks, asset managers, and buy-side clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end equity research coverage on GCC & Middle East banking sector

- Initiate coverage reports, earnings previews/reviews, sector updates, and thematic research

- Build and maintain advanced integrated 3-statement financial models from scratch

- Perform DCF valuation, comparable company analysis, and relative valuation frameworks

- Conduct detailed financial statement analysis to identify earnings drivers, risks, and red flags

- Track GCC & Middle East banking regulations, macroeconomic indicators, and sector trends

- Perform peer benchmarking and competitive positioning analysis

- Analyse earnings calls, investor presentations, annual reports, and regulatory filings

- Deliver high-quality, investment-grade research within strict turnaround timelines

- Collaborate with senior analysts and global stakeholders to enhance analytical rigor

What We Are Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in Equity Research / Investment Research – Banking Domain

- Mandatory experience covering GCC & Middle East Markets

- Strong expertise in Financial Modelling from Scratch (3-statement model, DCF, Comps)

- Strong understanding of IFRS / US GAAP and banking fundamentals

- Hands-on experience with Bloomberg / Capital IQ / FactSet / Refinitiv

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- CA / CFA (Level II or above) / MBA Finance preferred

- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period highly preferred
