International Finance Manager

As the Head of International Finance at Accertify, you will be entrusted with a key leadership role in developing the international finance function, specifically focusing on the India finance operations. Your responsibilities will include:

- Building and leading the India accounting and finance functions, encompassing vendor management, purchasing, accounts payable, travel and expense management, processing, reporting, analytics, and payroll accounting and reporting.
- Providing financial oversight for the facility build-out project at the new Gurgaon facility.
- Handling statutory reporting for the India legal entity, as well as for the UK and Mexico branches.
- Collaborating with corporate finance and accounting to drive cost reductions and enhance responsibilities within the Gurgaon finance and accounting team.
- Offering advice and insights into business performance to leaders in Gurgaon and beyond.
- Working with HR and legal entity compliance leaders in India to set high ethical standards for the Gurgaon team.
- Monitoring the execution of business plans and growth objectives alongside the leadership team.
- Ensuring system integration needs are fulfilled and assisting in receivables collection and DSO reduction policies.
- Collaborating with FP&A for capital planning and ROI analysis, maintaining compliance with internal controls, and continuously improving the internal control structure.
- Developing and upholding best practices in finance and accounting.
- Handling statutory reporting outside the US for India, the UK, and Mexico, and contributing to financial reporting in Japan, Spain, and Australia.
- Monitoring business performance, productivity, and financial metrics of India's operations to provide insights and recommendations in collaboration with operational and HR leaders.

Qualifications required for this role include:
- 15 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree and Chartered Accountant certification.
- Experience in multinational companies headquartered in the US.
- Proficiency in building and leading accounting and shared services teams in India.
- Experience in managing compliance and statutory reporting in India, the UK, and Mexico.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite and related systems.
- Strong attention to detail, urgency, management, leadership, communication, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, complex work processes, and thrive in a growing company environment.
