BDA Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is a fast-growing pharmaceutical manufacturing and export company specializing in oral solid dosage forms including tablets, capsules, and specialty formulations. Our products are exported across multiple international markets including Africa, CIS countries, and Southeast Asia.

As we continue expanding globally, we are looking for an Assistant Manager – International Business Development to support our international sales and market expansion efforts.

Role Description

The Assistant Manager – International Business Development will be responsible for developing and managing export markets, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with international distributors and partners.

The role will work closely with the Business Development Head and senior leadership to grow the company’s international presence and increase export revenues.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development
  • Identify and develop new export markets and business opportunities for pharmaceutical products.
  • Build and manage relationships with international distributors, importers, and pharmaceutical partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify high-potential products and countries for expansion.

  • Sales & Business Growth
  • Achieve international sales targets for assigned markets.
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, pricing structures, and supply agreements.
  • Coordinate with distributors to ensure timely order placement and business growth.

  • Client Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing international clients and partners.
  • Address client inquiries regarding products, pricing, regulatory requirements, and logistics.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

  • Regulatory & Product Coordination
  • Coordinate with the regulatory team for product registrations in new markets.
  • Work with internal teams to identify products suitable for specific markets.
  • Track registration timelines and product approvals.

  • Coordination with Internal Teams
  • Work closely with production, planning, regulatory, QA, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Monitor order status and ensure timely dispatch of shipments.

  • Trade Shows & Market Visits
  • Represent the company at international pharmaceutical exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Conduct market visits to distributors and partners to strengthen business relationships.

  • Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in International Business Development and familiarity with International Business practices
  • 3–6 years of experience in international pharmaceutical business development or exports
  • Experience handling pharma exports to Africa, CIS, or Southeast Asia is preferred
  • Experience in Sales with a proven track record of achieving or surpassing targets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field

  • Strong Market Research and analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities in global markets
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical export markets
  • Exceptional Communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain international client relationships
  • Ability to develop and manage international distributor networks
  • Good understanding of pricing strategies and international trade practices
  • Strong coordination and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in additional languages will be considered a plus
