Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers to identify testing needs and create robust automation frameworks.
• Maintain and improve existing automation test suites.
• Perform regression testing, load testing, and API testing using automation tools.
• Identify, log, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable feedback to the development team.
• Assist in integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and tools in test automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
• Basic programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).
• Understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman for API testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Knowledge of mobile app testing tools like Appium or Detox.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust.
