As a Senior User Interface User Experience Designer at CDM Smith, you will be an integral part of the Development group within the Digital Engineering Solutions team. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement cloud-based solutions that facilitate CI/CD pipeline and ensure collaborative work between software development and operations teams. You will be a critical thinker with a proactive approach, displaying a keen interest in applying new technologies and methods. Your role will involve implementing solutions for AEC initiatives that incorporate cutting-edge technologies and providing guidance and oversight to the AEC practices at CDM Smith. You will be engaged in research and development, offering input on new product research and incubating innovative ideas within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges and deliver impactful design solutions.
- Develop low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes for projects.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project team members, and developers to create high-quality UI/UX wireframes.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide the design process.
- Analyze user requirements and behaviors to design user-friendly interfaces.
- Design graphical user interface components such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
- Produce UI mockups and prototypes to showcase website functionality and appearance effectively.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to enhance design.
- Stay updated on industry developments and design application modifications.
- Analyze and establish a roadmap for upgrading existing applications to align with the latest UI/UX framework.
- Ensure design components, templates, and solutions are compatible across various browsers and screen settings.
- Collaborate with developers to communicate prototypes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Adhere to established guidelines for typography and graphic design.
- Establish best practices for visual design, incorporating color theory, typography, layout, and graphic design skills.
- Participate in code reviews for UI to ensure compliance with design and usability standards.

Qualifications Required:
- 6 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in modern interfaces, tools, coding languages, and libraries such as AdobeXD, Figma, UXPin, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills, with the ability to visualize processes and outcomes.
- Experience in responsive web designing, typography, and understanding user requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously within tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in design thinking, user experience, information architecture, and content alignment.
- Willingness to enhance skills with cutting-edge technology and tools in the industry.
