Job Summary

The Interior Design Faculty member is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, developing curriculum, and contributing to the academic and creative environment of the college. The role combines theoretical instruction, studio-based teaching, research, and professional practice exposure to prepare students for careers in interior design and related fields.

Research & Professional Contribution

• Mentor and advise students on academic progress and career development
• Supervise student projects, internships, and research work
• Encourage participation in competitions, exhibitions, workshops, and seminars
• Engage in research, design practice, or scholarly activities as per institutional norms
• Publish research papers, design work, or creative projects (where applicable)

Qualification

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture / Architecture or related field
• Relevant teaching experience in higher education (preferred but not mandatory for junior roles)
• Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, construction, and spatial planning

Desirable

• Industry experience in interior design practice
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max, Adobe Suite, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,106.54 - ₹29,959.47 per month
