As a Mechatronics Engineering Intern specializing in Instrumentation at Vertex ID LAB, you will be part of the Precision Measurement Systems & Sensor Integration team working on a capstone project. Vertex ID LAB, an industrial design and engineering initiative under Surat Jewels Ltd., aims to introduce technically sound, precision-driven instruments into high-value manufacturing environments by blending classical measurement principles with modern engineering practices.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in integrating sensors and measurement devices into mechanical systems
- Study and support measurement repeatability, calibration logic, and error sources and mitigation
- Work with mechanical probes, gauges, or transducers
- Support testing, validation, and data consistency checks
- Document calibration and testing procedures

• *Qualifications Required:**
- Pursuing B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation / Mechatronics / Applied Electronics
- Academic exposure to sensors and transducers, measurement systems, basic signal conditioning
- Interest in precision instruments and applied engineering
- Ability to collaborate with mechanical and software teams

In this role, you will gain exposure to real-world precision measurement systems, hands-on experience with calibration and validation, a strong academic + industry-aligned project output, professional mentorship, and portfolio development. You will be working in a hybrid mode with 70% on-site in Jaipur or Mumbai and 30% online / remote. Mentorship will be provided by a faculty mentor and industry mentor Yashovardhan Sharma, with regular design and review checkpoints to ensure your academic thesis or capstone project progresses smoothly.
