Join our team at BNEW RTE, PEU Transport, Transport Central Infrastructure (TCI) as an Infrastructure Engineer!

We are looking for a highly motivated Infrastructure Engineer to develop, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot everything required to create a world-class Development Environment (DE) and AI Infrastructure for PEU Transport (four product families and ~1000 staff).

TCI is a global team with a mission to enhance developer experience, ensure reliability, and boost productivity by making it easier, faster, and more efficient for teams to develop, test, build, and deliver high-quality products.

What you will do

• Provide service-minded support and practical solutions to a wide range of stakeholders
• Work together with other experts in a global team of solution architects, developers, and engineers
• Work closely with key stakeholders, developers, and internal (e.g. C&A, LSO, EWS) and external (e.g. Amazon, Microsoft, Google) service providers to ensure pragmatic, purpose-driven solutions that consistently put the needs of Product Development in PEU Transport first
• Work with Transport’s Platform Engineering strategy to establish ‘Golden Paths’ to standardize workflows and create best practices that enable secure, efficient, and scalable development across on-prem and cloud environments

What you will bring

Required Experience: 4 to 8 yrs

Education: min 16 years of education (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA)

The following or comparable competences (in order of importance):


• Linux Systems
• Hands-on experience with Ericsson Engineering Environment tools (e.g. eStart, Hydra, MDA, JIRA, Jenkins, ARM, Gerrit, GitLab, GitHub)
• Proven experience to reliable and well-documented solutions in complex environments
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Ansible, Puppet)
• Scripting (e.g. Python, Go)
• IP Networks
• IT Security

You either have, or are passionate about learning the following competences:


• Cloud Platforms (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud)
• AI Platforms (e.g. Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI, Google Vertex)
• Orchestration Platforms (e.g. Kubernetes)

As a person, you exhibit the following characteristics:


• You are not afraid of going outside your comfort zone by reaching out to new people
• You are service minded and possess a collaborative mindset
• You have excellent communication skills (in English)
• You are not fazed by complex and complicated problems
• You are passionate about learning and exploring new things
