Job Description:

Finance professional is responsible for accurate filing, reconciliations of both Income Tax and GST statutory filings (monthly/annually) adhering to due dates. Ensure to be updated on GST laws, regulations, and notifications to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice.

Key responsibilities:

Compliances:
  • Assist in preparing and filing GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-2A, GSTR-3B, GSTR 6, ITC 04 and GSTR-9.
  • Strong Knowledge in TDS sections and assist in TDS payment and return filing.
  • Experience of handling Indirect tax & Direct Tax related queries, response and interaction with the Tax department.
  • Ability to handle multiple input/output reconciliations for Indirect tax matters
  • Assist in submitting GST refund applications.
  • Experience in GSTR 2B vs Books and vendor reconciliations.
  • Stay updated on Tax laws, regulations, and notifications to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice.
  • Experience and Analysis:
  • Worked in retail industry and understands the different channel of operations.
  • Have a deep understanding of the Direct & Indirect taxation laws & regulations and how it applies and impact the business.
  • Must be able to identify and research industry best practices for application within the entity.

  • Education:
  • CA/CMA Intermediate / Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field may be considered.

  • Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in CA firms.
  • 3+ years if working in Corporates Taxation domain.

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and ERP systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
  • Familiarity with E-invoicing, E way bill and Income Tax platforms is a plus.
