Overview

Flockshop is looking for an experienced Photo Editor Lead to manage and scale our image editing operations. This role requires strong hands-on image editing expertise along with proven experience in leading teams, managing third-party vendors, and setting up quality standards and workflows. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality, consistent, and on-time delivery of edited images.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage the in-house image editing team, ensuring daily productivity and quality output
• Organize work allocation, track progress, and meet turnaround timelines
• Set up, document, and improve image editing processes, workflows, and quality standards for Flockshop
• Review and approve edited images to ensure brand and quality guidelines are met
• Manage third-party image editing vendors, including onboarding, briefs, quality checks, and performance tracking
• Act as the main point of contact between internal stakeholders and the editing team/vendors
• Train, mentor, and guide editors to improve skills and consistency
• Identify gaps, suggest improvements, and implement best practices for efficiency and scalability

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Team Lead handling image editing teams
• Strong photo manipulation skills using Adobe Photoshop is mandatory. This role requires deep, advanced Photoshop expertise not basic editing.
• Must be an Adobe Photoshop master, with strong command over tools, features, and workflows that are second nature. Photoshop knowledge should be at your fingertips.
• Ability to design and own scalable image editing workflows based on business requirements, assign tasks to editors, and lead teams to successful delivery.
• Experience working with AI image generation tools and combining them with Adobe Photoshop in a hybrid workflow to achieve final, production-ready outputs. (Examples: Nano Banana, ChatGPT, Leonardo, or similar tools)
• In depth understanding of automation & AI-assisted editing workflows
• Experience working with and managing external/third-party vendors
• Ability to set clear standards, SOPs, and quality benchmarks
• Strong ability to think beyond execution, set standards, guide editors, and ensure consistent, high-quality outputs at scale.

This role is not focused on basic editing tasks such as:

Adding filters

Simple background removal

Basic face retouching

Basic color correction

These skills are expected but not the core requirement.

• Experience working with fashion, e-commerce, or product images
• Prior experience scaling image operations or handling high-volume workflows
