Job Description: IB English Teachers (IBDP & MYP)

Locations:
  • Bangalore – IB DP
  • Bangalore – IB MYP
  • Jaipur – IB MYP
    • Type: Non-Residential School

    Position Overview

    We are seeking passionate and experienced IB English Teachers for both Diploma Programme (DP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). The ideal candidate will bring strong subject expertise, a commitment to inquiry-based learning, and the ability to develop students’ language, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with IB DP and MYP frameworks
  • Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and critical analysis skills
  • Foster a love for literature and language through interactive teaching strategies
  • Design inquiry-based and differentiated learning experiences
  • Assess and monitor student progress using IB assessment criteria
  • Prepare students for IB DP assessments (Paper 1, Paper 2, and Internal Assessments) where applicable
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Integrate ATL (Approaches to Learning) skills into teaching practices
  • Collaborate with faculty for curriculum planning and interdisciplinary learning
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development initiatives

    • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English or related field
  • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
  • IB DP/MYP training or certification (preferred)
  • Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience (IB experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of IB curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment practices
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
