  • Candidates who have worked in startups with 800+ employees, especially those who helped grow the company from 200-300 employees to 800+.

  • Must have stayed at their previous company for at least 3 years.

  • Candidates who showed growth in their role through salary raises or promotions during those 3+ years will be ideal.

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.

Key Experience:

  • Managed key HR operations like Performance Management Systems (PMS), company culture development, employee relations, and retention.

  • Ideal candidates are those who not only implemented these systems but also helped create them from the ground up.

Position Overview:

  • As the HR Operations Head, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations to ensure the effective and efficient management of our workforce.

  • You will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures that support our organizational goals and foster a positive work environment.

  • The HR Operations Head will lead a team of HR professionals to deliver exceptional HR services and support to our employees across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1: Strategic HR Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.

  • Conduct regular assessments of HR needs and trends to anticipate future requirements and proactively address workforce challenges.

  • Policy Development and Compliance

  • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.

  • Implement measures to maintain a culture of fairness, equity, and inclusivity within the organization.

  • Talent Acquisition and Retention

  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.

  • Develop retention strategies to attract and retain top talent, including employee engagement initiatives, career development programs, and performance management systems.

2: Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for employees and managers on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.

  • Promote a positive work environment built on trust, respect, and open communication.

  • Compensation and Benefits Administration

  • Manage the design, implementation, and administration of employee compensation and benefits programs.

  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.

3: HR Information Systems (HRIS):

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HRIS platforms to streamline HR processes and enhance data accuracy and accessibility.

  • Leverage technology solutions to automate routine tasks and generate insights for informed decision-making.

4: Training and Development:

  • Identify training and development needs within the organization and coordinate the delivery of relevant programs to enhance employee skills and competencies

  • Support career progression through mentorship, coaching, and succession planning initiatives.

5: Performance Management:

  • Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and recognize achievements.

  • Ensure performance evaluations are conducted regularly and fairly across all departments.

6: HR Metrics and Analytics:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track HR operational effectiveness and measure the impact of HR initiatives on business outcomes.

  • Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of HR processes.

7: Team Leadership and Development:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

  • Promote professional development and growth opportunities to enhance the capabilities of the HR department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in HR management roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR Operations experience working with a workforce of 700+ or more employees.

  • Ability to cultivate a positive employer brand in the digital marketplace.

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations, with a focus on HR operations, compliance, and employee relations.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive organizational performance and employee engagement.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven track record of effectively managing HR programs and projects, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development.

  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
