Summary:

The Deputy Area Sales Manager at Squarefoot plays a critical role in driving project-based sales performance across the Surat region. As a strategic leader within our expanding sales organization, you will be responsible for promoting premium interior and architectural surface solutions—such as engineered wood flooring, laminates, wall panels, and decking—across residential, commercial, and large-scale developments. You will lead the identification, pursuit, and execution of high-impact projects by building trusted, long-term relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and developers. Your efforts will directly contribute to growing our dealer and channel partner network, achieving aggressive sales targets, and solidifying Squarefoot’s position as the preferred provider of innovative, high-quality building materials. With a focus on consultative selling, market intelligence, and cross-functional coordination, this role offers strong career advancement opportunities within a dynamic, growth-oriented company.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and scale project sales for Squarefoot’s product portfolio across the Surat region.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and developers.
  • Identify new project opportunities and drive product specification through technical presentations, site visits, and consultative engagement.
  • Expand and manage a high-performing dealer and channel partner network to enhance market coverage and service delivery.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets while supporting sustainable business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order execution, collections, and effective after-sales support.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and actionable market insights on a regular basis.

  • Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B project sales within building materials, including sanitaryware, doors, locks, office furniture, facade systems, or interior décor.
  • Demonstrated success in closing high-value, long-cycle projects with key stakeholders.
  • Established and active network with architects, designers, builders, and contractors in the Surat region.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Highly self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools for sales tracking, reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the region to support client engagements and market development.
