High-CTR Thumbnail Designer for Pet Niche

Full-time

Posted on: 6 days ago

I am looking for a creative, data-driven thumbnail designer for my growing YouTube channel, Your Pet Assistant. We focus on dog emotion, behavior, and thinking.

I am not looking for generic "stock photo" style thumbnails. I need someone who understands visual storytelling and can capture "micro-expressions" in dogs to drive high click-through rates (CTR).

What I'm Looking For:

Emotional Impact:
Ability to select/edit high-quality, vibrant dog photos that convey specific emotions (curiosity, anxiety, joy, confusion).

Brand Consistency:

Ability to work with my existing brand palette (Rose, Sage, and Gold—logo attached) to create a cohesive look across the channel.

Custom Designs:
No templates or copycat designs. I want a unique look that stands out in the pet niche.

Psychology-Driven:

You should understand "the curiosity gap" and how to use minimal text (3–5 words) to complement the video title.

Requirements:
Proven track record with high-CTR thumbnails (please provide examples).

Expertise in Adobe Photoshop or similar high-end software.

Ability to provide 2 variations for A/B testing when needed.

Interest in dogs/canine behavior is a huge plus

To Apply: 1. Please send a link to your portfolio specifically highlighting YouTube thumbnails.
  • Briefly explain your process for making a subject "pop" from the background.
  • Start your proposal with the word "Paws" so I know you've read this entire brief.
I am looking for a long-term partner. For the first milestone, I'd like to pay $50 for one test thumbnail. If the click-through rate and quality are high, I will move to a weekly or batch-based contract.

Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.

Mandatory skills:
Graphic Design, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Graphic Enhancement, Color Theory, Thumbnail, Title, Visualization, Advertising Design, Brand Identity Design
