The organization was established under the Societies Registration Act in 2003 in Muzaffarpur, Bihar with philosophy rooted in Gandhian Ideology. The organization had humble beginnings with providing remedial classes and livelihood chance to the marginalized community in Muzaffarpur. Prayatna has worked relentlessly over the past decades for the upliftment by reaching to the unreached and has expanded its operations in the thematic areas of livelihood, healthcare, education, youth development and sustainable development in the states of Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Bihar, Odisha, Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand.

Brief about the position:
The project is about “Improving Health Outcomes in the state of Uttar Pradesh” supported by one of the reputed CSR partners of Prayatna, Reckitt Benckiser. The project is focusing on Mosquito Borne Disease's (Malaria) impact, control and elimination in the district of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The Health Educator will work along with the Program Manager & will work towards achieving the desired outcomes of the project.
