Job Title: Purchase Head – Pharma

Location: Ghaziabad

Experience: Minimum 4+ Years (Pharma Industry Mandatory)

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Depending on experience and interview performance)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Purchase Head with a strong pharmaceutical industry background who has good knowledge of medicines, their packaging, cartons, labels, and related documentation. The candidate must have prior experience working in a pharma company, although direct purchase experience is not mandatory.

The role involves managing procurement of pharmaceutical products and packaging materials while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Management
  • Manage the purchase and procurement of pharmaceutical products and related materials.
  • Identify, communicate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure timely availability of products and materials as per company requirements.
  • Maintain proper purchase records and documentation.
  • Pharma Product Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of medicine names, formulations, cartons, packaging, and labels.
  • Verify product specifications and ensure correct packaging and labeling standards.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors regarding product details.
  • Coordination & Documentation
  • Maintain proper purchase orders, invoices, and vendor records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for purchase requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy in product details, quantities, and documentation.
  • Inventory Support
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in planning procurement to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Maintain organized records of product details and purchases.

  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience working in a pharmaceutical company.
  • Strong knowledge of medicine names, packaging, cartons, labels, and pharma documentation.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.

  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience in vendor coordination or purchase processes.
  • Knowledge of pharma packaging and labeling regulations.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management.
