Job Purpose

The EHS Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving environmental, health, and safety practices to ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards. The role aims to promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

Environment
  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws, permits, and regulations
  • Monitor waste management, emissions, effluents, and resource usage
  • Implement environmental management programs and sustainability initiatives
  • Conduct environmental inspections and audits
  • Maintain environmental records and reporting documentation

  • Health & Safety
  • Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments
  • Implement safety procedures, SOPs, and emergency response plans
  • Conduct safety inspections, toolbox talks, and safety training
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and corrective actions
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment

  • Compliance & Systems
  • Ensure compliance with local EHS legislation and company standards
  • Support implementation and maintenance of ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.)
  • Maintain EHS documentation, records, and registers
  • Coordinate internal and external EHS audits
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities when required

  • Training & Awareness
  • Conduct EHS induction and refresher training for employees and contractors
  • Promote safety culture and employee awareness programs
  • Support management in achieving EHS objectives and KPIs

  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
  • Certification in Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) preferred
  • 5–8 years of relevant EHS experience
  • Knowledge of EHS laws, regulations, and best practices

  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards
  • Risk assessment and incident investigation skills
  • Good communication and training abilities
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

  • Working Conditions
  • Lucknow all plants regular site inspections and working.
  • May require working in industrial or operational environments.

  • Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
