Product Manager – Hardware (Audio & Accessories)

About the Role

TRIGGR is a fast-growing consumer electronics brand in India building innovative audio and mobile accessory products. We work closely with manufacturing partners and ODMs in China to develop high-quality products for the Indian market.

We are looking for a mid-level Product Manager who can manage product development, ODM coordination, quality control, and supply chain follow-ups from concept to production.

This role will involve frequent coordination with Chinese factories and occasional travel to China / Hong Kong for sourcing and development projects.

Key Responsibilities
1. Product Development Coordination

- Work with Chinese ODM/OEM partners to develop new products (TWS, neckbands, speakers, accessories).
- Coordinate product specifications, samples, revisions, and timelines.
- Track product development milestones from EVT → DVT → PVT → Mass Production.
- Ensure product meets TRIGGR design, performance, and cost targets.

2. Supplier & ODM Management

- Maintain regular communication with factory product managers and engineers.
- Compare and evaluate multiple ODM proposals for new products.
- Negotiate timelines, product changes, and customization requirements.

3. Quality Control & Compliance

- Monitor product quality during sampling and mass production.
- Coordinate with third-party QC agencies or internal teams for inspection.
- Ensure compliance with Indian regulatory requirements (BIS, WPC, etc.) where relevant.

4. Supply Chain & Shipment Coordination

- Track production schedules and shipment readiness.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure on-time dispatch from China.
- Monitor inventory pipeline and production delays.

5. Market & Product Insights

- Benchmark competitor products (boat, noise, boult, etc.).
- Identify new product opportunities and improvements.

Required Skills

- 2–5 years experience in hardware product management / sourcing / supply chain.
- Experience working with Chinese ODMs or factories.
- Understanding of consumer electronics product development cycles.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working across engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams.

Preferred Background

- Experience in audio products, accessories, or electronics manufacturing.
- Prior exposure to Shenzhen / Dongguan electronics ecosystem.
- Familiarity with QC processes and factory audits.

Travel

- Occasional travel to China / Hong Kong for factory visits and sourcing.
