Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer

About the Role: We are looking for a rigorous and innovative Hardware Design Engineer to drive the development of our hardware systems. You will take ownership of the electronics hardware lifecyclefrom initial architecture and component selection to prototyping, testing, and final deployment. If you excel at building robust systems that integrate complex sensor arrays and demand high reliability, we want you on our team.

Pay Scale: 8 to 12 LPA (skill based)

Key Responsibilities
  • Circuit Architecture & Design: Architect and design circuits, ensuring optimal performance, signal integrity, and power efficiency .
  • PCB Layout & Routing: Execute complex, multi-layer PCB designs using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle), strictly adhering to DFM/DFA and EMI/EMC best practices.
  • Sensor Integration: Select, interface, and seamlessly integrate various sensors, specifically focusing on GPS modules, IMUs (Inertial Measurement Units), and environmental sensors.
  • Prototyping & Bring-Up: Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation testing. Utilize oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters to troubleshoot issues down to the component level.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with embedded firmware developers to define hardware-software communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN) and ensure flawless system integration.

  • Requirements
  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience: Ideally more than 1 year of professional industry experience or a strong, demonstrable portfolio of hands-on, end-to-end hardware projects. We value actual building and debugging experience over strict tenure.
  • Hands-on experience integrating, tuning, and processing data from spatial and navigation sensors (GPS, IMUs).
  • Demonstrated experience in circuit design and PCB layout for deployed commercial or industrial hardware.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of low-power system design.
  • A relentless approach to hardware debugging and failure analysis.
