Job Summary

• Diagnostic Interpretation: Analyze peripheral blood smears, bone marrow aspirates, and biopsy samples to diagnose malignant and non-malignant hematological diseases.
• Clinical Consultation: Advise clinicians on the selection of laboratory tests and interpret complex results for patient management.
• Blood Banking & Transfusion: Oversee blood bank services, including blood grouping, cross-matching, and ensuring safe transfusion practices.
• Operational Management: Manage lab operations, develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and maintain accreditation standards (e.g., NABL).
• Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures, including internal checks and external proficiency testing.
