Job Description: Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and support mechanical components and systems related to EV Chargers, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and electrical enclosures. The candidate will be responsible for product design, structural analysis, vendor coordination, and production support.

- Experience: 3–6 Years

- Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.

- Location: Surat

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical components, enclosures, and structures.

- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks/Catia/SolidEdge).

- Perform mechanical calculations (load, thermal, structural strength).

- Coordinate with electrical team for system integration.

- Vendor development and coordination for fabrication/dyes/moulds / sheet metal work.

- Supervise prototype development and mechanical related testing inline with standards[ IP /IK ]

- Support installation and site-related mechanical queries.

- Prepare BOM, technical documentation, and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- Strong knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication.

- Experience in enclosure design (IP-rated cabinets preferred).

- Understanding of thermal management and cooling systems.

- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD preferred).

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in EV Chargers or Energy Storage Systems.

- Knowledge of IP protection standards (IP54/IP65).

- Experience with CNC, laser cutting, bending processes.

- Vendor handling experience.
