Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced GIS Data Specialist with strong expertise in geospatial data creation, management, and analysis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GIS data handling, satellite image analysis, and working with AI/ML-based image analytics.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, manage, and maintain GIS datasets
- Perform satellite image analysis using optical and microwave data
- Work on crop mapping, weather data analysis, and related GIS activities
- Handle and process large geospatial datasets efficiently
- Utilize Google Earth Engine for data processing and analysis
- Apply AI/ML techniques for image analytics
- Conduct data analysis using R and Python
- Process and analyze microwave satellite data
- Work with various GIS and image processing software tools
- Prepare reports, maps, and insights based on geospatial data

Required Qualifications

- Full-time Post Graduate Degree in:
- GIS & Remote Sensing
- Geo-informatics or equivalent
- OR
- B.E./B.Tech / MCA with relevant experience

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in GIS data creation and handling
- Strong knowledge of GIS tools and software
- Experience in AI/ML and image analytics
- Proficiency in R and Python
- Experience in Google Earth Engine
- Ability to manage large GIS datasets
- Hands-on experience in image analysis (Optical & Microwave data)
