As the Head of Accounts Department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of 10-15 individuals. Your primary duties will include maintaining complete ownership of all data and transactions recorded in the books of accounts. You will be required to regularly monitor and reconcile all payables and receivables, ensuring accuracy and consistency across various entities such as Vendors, Customers, and Banks. You will be tasked with implementing and maintaining SAP systems to streamline accounting processes and enhance data accuracy. To excel in this role, you must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and possess 15-25 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with a substantial portion in leadership positions. It is essential that you have a background in the manufacturing industry and demonstrate independent working experience along with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Proficiency in SAP and other relevant accounting software is mandatory. Strong leadership and team management skills are required, as you will be overseeing teams of 10-15 members. Your analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities will be put to the test to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities. Moreover, you must ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including Cost Records, GST, and Income Tax Compliances.
