Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Accountant with expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R), Cost Accounting, and Lease Accounting to join our team in Pune City. This is a full-time, on-site role. Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data. The Lead Accountant will also oversee cost accounting, maintain accurate lease accounting records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Experience: - 4 + Years | CTC : Up to 10 LPA

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Education: B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA / BBM (Commerce background only)

Shift: should be flexible for US Shift - 6:30 PM - 3:30 AM

Lead Accountant-Cost Accounting and Lease Accounting
  • 4-6 years of F&A experience of which 2+ years of GL(General ledger) experience.
  • CA / CPA / Qualified Accountants or Intermediate Accountants required
  • Proven people management skills
  • Functional / domain knowledge in F&A processes, good analytical & aptitude skills
  • Experience on process simplification / transformation.
  • Strong team leading and motivational skills, performance reporting and tracking, derive performance improvement ideas
  • Ability to multi task, prioritize activities & meeting deadlines

  • Execute day to day operational tasks such as inventory reconciliations, lease accounting

  • Managing team
  • Identify and execute transformation projects

  • Act as a knowledge manager (Documentation, updating, version control)

  • Ensure quality of the deliverables

  • Motivate the team to meet and exceed SLAs

  • Ability to lead and motivate team to achieve performance goals

  • Deploy and monitor process controls, quality assurance plans and risk mitigation initiatives
  • • Manage delivery of GL services as per the agreement
