We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the textile and garment industry, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure the smooth execution of merchandising activities.

How You Will Add Value (Core Responsibilities)

• Coordinate with Design & Planning teams for seasonal range development.
• Convert design concepts into tech packs, BOMs, and bulk-ready styles.
• Track styles from development to bulk approval in line with brand DNA and quality standards.
• Prepare, update, and control cost sheets for knits and wovens.
• Support target costing in collaboration with sourcing and production teams.
• Assist in value engineering initiatives while maintaining product quality.
• Manage proto, fit, size set, and PP samples, ensuring timely approvals.
• Monitor development and production calendars (T&A) and proactively highlight risks.
• Coordinate with factories for right-first-time and on-time production readiness.
• Ensure product readiness for photoshoots, cataloguing, and launches.
• Oversee labeling, packing, and barcoding according to brand guidelines.
• Maintain accurate style trackers, sample records, and documentation.

What You Bring to The Team (Experience & Education)

• Working knowledge of knits & wovens, fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
• Hands-on experience with tech packs, BOMs, and costing processes.
• Ability to manage multiple styles and tight timelines efficiently.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills with internal and external teams.
• Commercial mindset with a basic understanding of costing and margins.
• Proficiency in Excel and PLM systems (preferred).
• Problem-solving attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Clear communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, season-driven environment.
• Team player with a proactive and ownership-driven approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
