Role Description

This is a remote role for a GAMSAT Tutor. The GAMSAT Tutor will assist students in preparing for the Graduate Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT) by designing engaging lesson plans, providing personalized support, and helping students improve their understanding across all GAMSAT sections. Responsibilities include explaining complex scientific, reasoning, and writing concepts, developing tailored instructional materials, monitoring progress, and offering constructive feedback to students to enhance their exam readiness. Sessions might be conducted one-on-one or in group settings through virtual platforms, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAMSAT content, including humanities, social sciences, physical sciences, and logic-based problem-solving
• Proven skills in tutoring, instructional design, and creating engaging educational materials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
• Experience in online teaching, virtual learning platforms, or remote instruction methods
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles
• Previous experience with standardized test preparation is advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Science, Literature, or Education) is preferred
