Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Founding Technical Recruiter for the US and Canada market. This pivotal role aims to establish a robust technical recruitment strategy to attract top talent for our growing startup. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future of our engineering team, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process that aligns with our company's vision and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies tailored for the US and Canada markets.

  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create compelling job descriptions.

  • Utilize various recruitment marketing techniques to attract high-quality candidates.

  • Source and engage potential candidates through various platforms, networking events, and industry partnerships.

  • Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure alignment with technical requirements and company culture.

  • Maintain and update recruitment metrics to track progress and improve hiring processes.

  • Foster relationships with universities and technical communities to build talent pipelines.

  • Act as a brand ambassador for the company, effectively communicating our mission and values to prospective candidates.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.

  • Familiarity with technical roles in software development, engineering, and IT.

  • Strong understanding of various coding languages, technical frameworks, and industry trends.

  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform recruitment strategies and decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on technical and IT roles.

  • Proven track record of successful recruitment in a startup environment.

  • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance issues specific to the US and Canada.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong expertise in end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

  • Demonstrated technical recruitment experience, particularly in sourcing and hiring engineers and IT professionals.

  • Familiarity with the US recruitment landscape, including regional differences and market trends.

  • Experience in startup hiring and understanding the unique challenges and dynamics of early-stage companies.

  • Background in recruitment marketing and job posting strategies to enhance visibility and attractiveness to candidates.

  • Effective talent sourcing skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and engaging potential candidates.

  • Strong candidate screening and evaluation abilities, ensuring the right fit for technical roles and cultural alignment.


    Shift timings - EST/PST time zones

    7:00 PM IST to 4:00 AM IST
