Job Summary

We are looking for an innovative and experienced Food Technologist to lead product development and food production operations. The role involves creating new food products, improving existing recipes, and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in product innovation, quality control, and maintaining regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and innovate current food products, recipes, and formulations based on market trends and customer preferences.
- Improve and optimize existing food products for taste, shelf life, and quality.
- Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and FSSAI regulations.
- Conduct product trials, testing, and sensory evaluations before market launch.
- Work with management to plan product strategy and business expansion.
- Maintain documentation related to food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise production teams and kitchen/processing staff.
- Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage standards.
- Monitor inventory and quality of raw materials used in production.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in food product development, food manufacturing, or R&D.;
- Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations, food safety standards, and quality control systems.
- Experience in product innovation, recipe formulation, and process improvement.
- Good leadership and management skills to handle production teams.
- Strong analytical and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, or food safety management systems.
- Experience in large-scale food production or food startups.
- Ability to identify emerging food trends and market opportunities.
