As a Manager II, GSCM, PDS Finance at Bristol Myers Squibb, you will play a vital role as a highly collaborative Finance business partner within the Operations Finance sub tower of the GPS organization in BMS's Hyderabad Hub. Your exceptional expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling will be key in transforming the lives of patients and contributing to the success of the Finance function and BMS.
  • *Key Responsibilities and Major Duties:**

  • - Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis, identifying key drivers and root causes
    - Develop clear explanations of financial variances, highlighting risks, opportunities, and emerging trends
    - Provide actionable financial guidance to business leaders, beyond just reporting results
    - Prepare financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions
    - Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations for management and business partners
    - Challenge assumptions and recommend corrective actions for efficiency improvements
    - Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
    - Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial systems and reports
    - Continuously improve financial analysis processes and reporting tools
  • *Relationship management and teaming:**

  • - Build and maintain relationships at all levels within the organization
    - Establish connections with senior leadership in Hyderabad Hub and global Finance
    - Build an external network to stay updated on best practices and industry standards
