Tilt is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Manager to own day-to-day accounting, compliance coordination, and finance operations. This is a hands-on execution-focused role suited for someone comfortable working in a startup environment and managing multiple operational workflows with high accuracy. This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Compliance
  • Own end-to-end accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and reconciliations
  • Coordinate with the external CA for statutory and regulatory filings (GST, TDS, PT, PF, payroll compliance, etc.)
  • Maintain organised financial records and documentation required for audits and compliance
  • Perform regular bank and payment reconciliations
  • Ensure vendor and customer ledgers are accurate and up to date

  • Billing & Payments Operations
  • Generate invoices, estimates, purchase orders, and delivery challans as required
  • Process and track online payments to vendors and partners
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding receivables
  • Coordinate with vendors for tax invoices, corrections, and documentation
  • Support expense verification and payment workflows

  • Internal Finance Operations
  • Gather, organise, and prepare financial information (revenue, expenses, P&L summaries, etc.) for internal reporting and investor updates
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely submission of invoices, bills, and payment requests
  • Track cash flow and payment schedules

  • Contracts & Documentation
  • Manage end-to-end contract workflows (drafting coordination, verification, e-signature requests, renewals)
  • Maintain company-level registrations and certificates (GST, MSME, S&E, etc.)
  • Support employee onboarding documentation and record keeping
  • Handle routine finance-related queries from team members (payments, deductions, documentation, etc.)

  • Requirements
  • Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations
  • Working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and any accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Indian statutory compliance processes (GST, TDS, etc.) strongly preferred
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working remotely and coordinating across teams
  • Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
