Reporting To: Senior Finance Executive.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Intern for a 3-month internship program. The intern will gain hands-on experience in core accounting functions including payables, domestic receivables, GST & TDS reconciliations, banking coordination, and other routine finance activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable

• Process vendor invoices and verify supporting documents
• Maintain vendor ledger and reconcile payable balances
• Assist in preparing payment schedules
• Coordinate with vendors for invoice discrepancies

2. Domestic Receivables

• Track customer invoices and payment follow-ups
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve mismatches
• Assist in preparing ageing reports
• Coordinate with sales/team for outstanding collections

3. GST Reconciliation

• Assist in monthly GST reconciliation (GSTR-2A/2B vs books)
• Verify input tax credit (ITC) eligibility
• Support GST return working and documentation

4. TDS Reconciliation

• Reconcile TDS receivable/payable with books
• Assist in quarterly TDS return working
• Follow up for TDS certificates and maintain records

5. Banking & Liaison

• Coordinate with banks for routine transactions and documentation
• Assist in bank reconciliations (BRS)
• Support in preparing documents for banking requirements

6. Other Finance Activities

• Maintain accounting records and documentation
• Assist in month-end closing activities
• Support internal and statutory audit requirements
• Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) – Final Year or Recent Graduate
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with GST and TDS concepts
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally/ERP) is an advantage
