Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our finance team. The role will focus on inventory reconciliation, revenue assurance, tax reconciliations, accounts receivable, and marketplace/payment gateway reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records and smooth financial operations. The candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Reconciliation

• Perform periodic inventory reconciliation between ERP, warehouse records, and physical stock.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with operations/warehouse teams for resolution.
• Ensure correct valuation and recording of inventory in financial systems.
• Prepare inventory variance reports and highlight exceptions.

2. Revenue Assurance

• Monitor and validate revenue recognition across different sales channels.
• Reconcile sales recorded in internal systems with accounting records.
• Identify revenue leakages, incorrect postings, or reconciliation gaps.
• Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure accurate revenue capture.

3. Tax Reconciliations

• Perform GST reconciliations including outward supplies, inward supplies, and returns.
• Reconcile books with GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) to identify mismatches.
• Maintain reconciliation documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

4. Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Manage customer receivables and outstanding balances.
• Prepare and monitor accounts receivable aging reports.
• Follow up with customers or internal teams for timely collections.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and reconcile customer ledgers.

5. Marketplace Reconciliation

• Reconcile sales, returns, commissions, and settlements from online marketplaces (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, etc.) with internal records.
• Verify marketplace deductions such as commissions, logistics fees, penalties, and marketing charges.
• Investigate and resolve settlement mismatches with marketplace partners.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and track unresolved discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• Semi Qualified CA / CMA
• 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or reconciliation roles.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems is preferred.
