About The Opportunity

A role in the manufacturing industry supporting industrial/plant finance operations across India. You will work onsite at a production facility to manage accounting, statutory compliance, cost controls and operational MIS that drive plant profitability and audit readiness.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day plant accounting: maintain GL, process AP/AR transactions, and perform bank reconciliations to ensure clean books.
  • Execute month-end and quarter-end closing activities, prepare financial statements, and deliver variance analysis and management MIS on time.
  • Own inventory and cost accounting tasks: reconcile stock, validate WIP, support standard-cost calculations and COGS reconciliation.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance at plant level: GST, TDS, PF/ESI filings and coordinate with external auditors for statutory and tax audits.
  • Operate and maintain ERP records (invoices, GRN, cost allocations), reconcile vendor balances, and support timely vendor payments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities in Excel/ERP, and maintain process documentation and internal controls.

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or plant finance, handling accounting, cost accounting and statutory compliance.
  • Exposure to statutory audits and internal control frameworks; familiarity with manufacturing costing practices.
