As a member of Group Treasury's Transactions & Structures team at Macquarie, your primary responsibility will be to manage intra-group funding, intra-group capital, and optimize group structure for accounting, tax, and regulatory outcomes. Specifically, the GT IntraGroup Funding Team focuses on maintaining a defined funding path for all group entities, managing interest rate risk at the entity level due to BU debt funding, and maintaining the Master Loan Schedule (MLS).

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the efficient implementation of Entity Funding Hierarchy by developing and maintaining a defined debt funding path (entity funding hierarchy).
- Daily hedging of interest rate risk arising from BU funding requirements.
- Developing and maintaining the master loan schedule for all internal loans and deposits.
- Producing entity Target funding tenor profile using business unit level submissions.
- Advising on the most appropriate immediate funding parent for new companies.
- Reviewing and approving documents related to New Company Authorization form, financing, re-financing of entities, and new central customers.
- Performing credit ratings for all Macquarie group entities.
- Responsible for documentation and pricing of intra-group loans.
- Ensuring knowledge sharing with resources through cross-training and team learning.
- Developing relationships with key members of Group Treasury, Finance, Middle Office, and business unit finance teams.
- Maintaining documentation of various processes and procedures up to date.
- Continually questioning and attempting to improve the control environment that the business operates in.

About you:
You are an experienced professional in financial services with exposure to financial accounting and reporting in a service industry environment. You have a strong customer service ethic, proactively understand client requirements, maintain good relationships with clients, and have the ability to work in a virtual global team and manage cross-border relationships effectively. Additionally, you possess:
- An outstanding academic background in a financial or quantitative degree (e.g., accounting, actuarial, economics, engineering, or mathematics).
- 4-8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Balance Sheet Management or Treasury will be advantageous, especially related to funding and intercompany transactions.
- Sound knowledge of the Financial/Banking Services industry, products & Shared Services operating models.
- Good attention to detail.
- Inquisitive and analytical mindset.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong team player.
- A high degree of comfort in dealing with information technology.
- Very strong MS Excel and PowerBI skills.
- Experience with Alteryx and Mathematica would be advantageous.
