Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable back-end systems and RESTful APIs using Node.js
• Oversee back-end and full-stack projects, ensuring performance, security, and code quality
• Mentor and guide junior developers; conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, UI/UX, and DevOps
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Define and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and technical documentation
• Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, coding standards, and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js backend development
• Strong expertise in building scalable APIs and backend architectures
• Experience with JavaScript and Redux.js for front-end integration
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and deployment best practices
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities
• Proven experience leading teams or managing technical projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
• Experience with database management (SQL/NoSQL)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
