TransUnion's Job Applicant Privacy Notice What We'll Bring: Role Overview The Marketing & Events Specialist will support the sales team by delivering integrated cross channel campaigns, managing marketing operations, and providing end to end support for corporate events and employee engagement initiatives. This role requires exceptional coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. What You'll Bring: Key Responsibilities Marketing Campaigns & Automation Manage the communication and campaign activity—including content planning, Eloqua deployment, and reporting. Execute tactical campaigns using a data‑driven approach to plan, test, measure, and optimize. Build, QA, and deploy email communications through Eloqua. Write, brief, and proof marketing and campaign copy. Coordinate campaign activity across web, social, and global marketing teams. Track campaign performance and apply insights to improve future output. Manage TransUnion logo usage requests and maintain approval logs. Ensure correct Salesforce campaign setup and tracking. Events & Employee Engagement Provide on‑ground support for corporate events and internal engagement activities. Research and shortlist cost‑effective venues aligned with event objectives. Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers, caterers, entertainment partners, and vendors. Lead end‑to‑end event logistics, ensuring smooth execution. Develop event communications—including themes, invitations, agendas, and feedback forms. Oversee event‑day operations and manage on‑site staff (AV, hotel, caterers, etc.). Prepare event budgets, monitor expenses, and process invoices. Produce post‑event reports with insights and recommendations. Contribute creative ideas to enhance event quality and engagement. Operational & Financial Administration Onboard suppliers and manage purchase orders and invoices. Maintain the marketing budget tracker and ensure spend accuracy. Manage procurement and distribution of branded merchandise. Impact You'll Make: Essential Skills & Experience English and Maths GCSEs grade 9–4 (A–C) or equivalent. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong team player with effective stakeholder management capabilities. Technically minded and comfortable with digital tools. Creative thinker with an analytical, metrics‑driven mindset. Good negotiation skills and a proactive approach. Awareness of the Credit Solutions market is an advantage. Desirable Skills & Experience Experience with email creation, web pages, or digital content. Exposure to marketing automation platforms (Eloqua preferred; Mailchimp, Pardot, Silverpop beneficial). Experience in an FCA‑regulated environment (desirable, not essential). Prior B2B marketing experience. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
