As an Environment, Health and Safety Officer in a manufacturing setting at Chakan MIDC, Pune, your primary responsibility is to ensure safe and compliant factory operations. You will achieve this by conducting safety inspections, surveys, internal audits, Gemba walks, and risk assessments. Additionally, you will support ISO 45001:2018 implementation, manage contractor and visitor safety processes, deliver EHS trainings, maintain EHS software systems, identify process improvements, and coordinate site Safety & Sustainability KPIs with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety inspections, surveys, internal audits, Gemba walks, and risk assessments.
- Support ISO 45001:2018 implementation and EHS compliance recordkeeping.
- Manage contractor and visitor safety processes, including Work Permits.
- Deliver EHS trainings and support incident/accident investigations and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain and update EHS software systems (Benchmark Gensuite, Wercs, Credit 360, Enhesa, Legatrix, ARIS, etc.).
- Identify process improvements and initiate change requests to strengthen EHS performance.
- Coordinate site Safety & Sustainability KPIs with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications Required:
- 35 years of EHS experience in a Manufacturing/Factory environment, including contractor safety management.
- Engineering degree + ADIS (MSBTE).
- ISO Lead or Internal Auditor certification.
- NEBOSH certification is an advantage.
- Strong skills in risk assessment, inspections, problem solving, communication, and documentation.
- Ability to read/speak Marathi is required.
