Basic Functions:

Nucor Towers & Structures Inc, a division of Nucor, the United States largest recycler and largest

manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking qualified applicants for positions of entry-level

detailer or detailer with some experience positions at our business unit located in Noida. Duties of the successful candidate include but are not limited to the following:
  • Reading and understanding transmission line drawings and project specifications
  • Assist in creating 3D models and detail drawings using Autodesk Inventor
  • Revise and update drawings based on red lines or feedback from engineers and senior detailers.
  • Ensure BOMs are accurate and align with procurement and fabrication needs
  • Learning and ensuring all work comply with utility pole industry standards, safety codes, and internal detailing guidelines
  • Meeting deadlines while ensuring quality work
  • Collaborating and communicating effectively with local and international teammates
  • Managing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Working overtime when needed to meet project goals

  • Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to

    demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and

    housekeeping standards at all times.

    Minimum Qualifications:
  • Able to communicate in English
  • Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Draughtsman certificate, Polytechnic Diploma, Senior Secondary Education, or equivalent
  • One or more years school or work experience with Autodesk Inventor, Fusion, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Creo, NX, or Catia

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering Diploma
  • One or more years work experience with regular Autodesk Inventor use
  • Competency using Bluestar Project Lifecycle Management (PLM), Fusion Manage, or similar software
