About the Role

We are looking for an engaging and experienced English Tutor and Course Creator to join our team in Ahmedabad. In this hybrid role, you will be dedicated to helping Gujarati-speaking adults master conversational English for real-world situations.

You will not only teach but also build the curriculum from the ground up. If you are passionate about adult education and know how to design courses that help people communicate confidently at work, in social settings, and beyond, we want you on our team.

What You Will Do

• Design Practical Curriculum: Create comprehensive spoken English courses tailored specifically for native Gujarati speakers, focusing on everyday communication, workplace interactions, and social etiquette.
• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Conduct hybrid classes (both in-person in Ahmedabad and online) for adult learners, ensuring a comfortable and supportive learning environment.
• Focus on Real-World Application: Teach practical vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structuring that students can immediately use in their careers and personal lives.
• Assess and Adapt: Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and continuously refine course materials based on what works best for the learners.

What We Are Looking For

• Language Fluency: Native or near-native fluency in both English and Gujarati.
• Teaching Experience: Proven track record of teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) or Spoken English, specifically to adult learners.
• Course Creation Skills: Hands-on experience developing educational materials, curriculums, or digital courses.
• Cultural Understanding: Deep empathy for the common hurdles Gujarati speakers face when learning English, with strategies to overcome them.
• Location: Must be based in Ahmedabad and comfortable with a hybrid work structure.
• Communication Style: Patient, highly engaging, and capable of breaking down complex grammar rules into simple, relatable concepts.
