Role Overview

As Engineering Lead , you will act as the bridge between product leadership and the engineering team . You will guide system architecture, ensure high-quality engineering execution, and help scale the platform as our user base grows. You will lead developers, define engineering processes, and ensure that product ideas translate into reliable, scalable software systems.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable backend and frontend systems.
• Design systems capable of handling high traffic, real-time interactions, and large datasets .
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development workflows .

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers.
• Conduct code reviews and technical guidance to ensure high-quality output.
• Work with leadership on hiring, onboarding, and performance management .

Product & Execution

• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in roadmap planning and technical decision-making .
• Ensure fast iteration cycles and efficient delivery.

Platform & Infrastructure

• Oversee system architecture, APIs, and database performance .
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment processes .
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and security .

Innovation

• Stay current with modern technologies and architecture patterns.
• Introduce tools and frameworks that improve engineering velocity and scalability .

Required Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in software engineering.
• 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
• Experience building consumer-facing products or high-traffic platforms .
• Strong backend experience with Node.js, Python, Java, or Go .
• Experience working with modern frontend frameworks (React, React Native, Flutter, or similar).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems .
• Experience working with SQL / NoSQL databases and high-volume data systems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure) .

Preferred Experience

• Experience building real-time features (feeds, messaging, notifications, live interactions).
• Experience with recommendation systems, content feeds, or social platforms .
• Experience scaling systems to millions of users .
• Exposure to Rust or Web3 infrastructure is a plus.
