Role Overview:
At Goldman Sachs, as a Product & Project Manager in the Data Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining data products and services that are essential for the firm's success. Your responsibilities will include building and nurturing relationships with users, collaborating with various teams to work on solutions for different business opportunities, and driving the adoption of the Legend data platform. You will work closely with engineers and businesses to enhance data strategies and processes, contributing to the firm's data transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Product Operations: Strategically track and manage the delivery and execution of high-priority Product Operations initiatives. Define frameworks for managing key Product Management artifacts, including Product Feature Requests, Flagship Initiatives, and OKRs. Develop and monitor Product Operations processes, coordinate with stakeholders, and report progress to senior management.
- Strategic Initiatives & Project Management: Support planning, tracking, and execution of Strategic Initiatives across Data Engineering. Act as a bridge between different teams, manage project timelines, and address issues as they arise.
- Stakeholder Management: Design processes for effective Stakeholder Management, communicate Legend Platform roadmaps, and collaborate with stakeholders across the firm.
- Communications & Reporting: Prepare strategic reports, executive-level presentations, and identify potential risks for proactive mitigation strategies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data related to Legend Platform Product Operations to inform decision-making and improve the product development lifecycle.
- Strategic Process Improvement: Work with leadership to enhance developer experience and productivity by implementing innovative solutions.

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's in a technical/business degree or equivalent practical experience with 1-3 years of product/project management experience in a client-facing role.
- Strong project management abilities, familiarity with Agile processes and Jira/Confluence, excellent communication skills, commercial drive, analytical skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Preferred qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, familiarity with JIRA, GitLab, GitHub, Design Thinking, Working Backwards Process, and OKR concepts.
