About the role

Drive change and elevate performance as you tackle complex backbone network challenges and deliver unparalleled support to enhance the customer experience across Orange Business Services.
  • Provide advanced technical support for Global customer service centers and Backbone supervision centers, efficiently resolving low to medium complexity backbone network problems within functional KPIs.
  • Identify and address backbone network congestion issues, collaborating with network planning and rollout teams to facilitate timely capacity upgrades.
  • Contribute to network performance and customer satisfaction objectives by delivering high-quality second-level technical support for all backbone network platforms and services.
  • Implement high-impact and complex infrastructure changes while adhering strictly to network change management procedures.
  • Generate comprehensive Technical Incident Reports for major network incidents and problems, ensuring clear documentation and actionable insights.
  • Provision IMN and OTI services (VPN, IPSEC, Internet, etc) over the Orange OGN network while coordinating effectively with relevant teams.
  • You will gain and apply both technical and soft skills in alignment with individual and team objectives.
  • Achieve functional KPI targets to drive performance metrics and contribute to overall customer satisfaction and network performance goals.

  • About you

    You possess a university degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Networking and have 3-5 years of hands-on technical support experience in a telecom environment. Your expertise includes advanced knowledge of communication standards, proficiency in Cisco and Juniper technologies, and a strong foundation in network protocols and service provisioning. You excel in analytical troubleshooting and are dedicated to team collaboration, making you a valuable asset to our support team.

    Your professional skills:
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of communication standards and OSI/commercial protocols related to network technologies including IP-MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, and BGP4.
  • Possess professional-level knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting experience with Cisco ASR/IOS routers, Cisco Catalyst switches, and Juniper routers.
  • Understand telecom service providers' networks and services, articulating technical needs effectively.
  • Exhibit basic understanding of SDWAN, SDN networks, and segment routing for enhanced service delivery.
  • Have practical experience in network and service provisioning of MPLS VPN, IPsec, GRE, and other IP services over internet/MPLS.
