  • *Position Summary**
  • *Key Responsibilities**
    • - **Installation & Wiring**: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes (e.g., NEC, local codes).
    - **Troubleshooting & Diagnostics**: Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
    - **Maintenance & Repair**: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Quickly and effectively diagnose and repair electrical faults.
    - **Testing & Commissioning**: Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
    - **Blueprint Interpretation**: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the locations of wiring and equipment.
    - **Safety & Compliance**: Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as state and local electrical codes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
    - **Documentation**: Complete required documentation for all work performed, including work orders, service reports, and inventory logs.
  • *Qualifications**
  • *Required**:

    • - **Experience**: 2-3 years of proven experience as an Electrician.
    - **Education**: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program is highly preferred.
    - **Knowledge**: Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
    - **Skills**: Expertise in using various electrical and hand tools, diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, ammeters), and power tools.
    - **Other**: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
