Job description:

This job profile is for an *Electrician cum Building Caretaker* (also referred to as a Field Boy) at *Jai Saria Hostels - Shri Ram House*. The role combines manual maintenance, electrical tasks, and administrative hostel management.

• Key Responsibilities*

The position involves a wide range of daily tasks to ensure the building operates smoothly:

• Building Maintenance & Cleaning:* You will be responsible for the daily cleaning of parking areas, terraces, stairways, solar panels, and washrooms. Additionally, you will care for plants, manage water pump operations, and monitor water tank levels.
• Electrical & Technical Work:* Duties include performing small repairs (bulbs, fans, tube lights) and regularly checking that internet connections and CCTV cameras are functional throughout the building.
• Administration & Finance:* You will show rooms to prospective students, explain facilities, and assist with room allocations. You are also responsible for collecting student rent on time and managing the payment of utility bills like BSES electricity, house tax, and water.

Aesthetic Upkeep:* Ensuring the building is decorated and maintains a basic aesthetic appeal is required.

Eligibility Criteria*

Background:* Candidates with an *Army background* are preferred.

Education:* You must be literate and capable of handling basic billing and records.

Transport:* Owning a *bike* is mandatory for local work.

Character:* The ideal candidate is disciplined, honest, punctual, and respectful when dealing with students.
