Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Testing Engineer / Lab Engineer to perform electrical testing, calibration, and inspection activities in compliance with NABL accreditation requirements and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

The candidate will ensure accurate testing, proper documentation, equipment handling, and adherence to laboratory quality and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing of transformers, HT/LT cables, CT/PT, switchgear, panels, and other electrical equipment.
• Conduct tests such as Insulation Resistance (IR), High Voltage (HV) Withstand, Partial Discharge, Contact Resistance, Tan Delta, and other electrical/mechanical tests.
• Prepare test reports, calibration certificates, and maintain technical documentation.
• Maintain records as per ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Ensure traceability of instruments and maintain calibration schedules.
• Operate HV test sets, transformer test benches, micro-ohm meters, Tan Delta kits, and other testing equipment.
• Assist in NABL audits and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Follow electrical safety standards and conduct onsite testing when required.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

• Freshers with strong technical knowledge can apply.
• 1–5 years of experience in an electrical testing laboratory preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical testing procedures.
• Understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Basic MS Excel and reporting skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to travel for onsite assignments if required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
