Job Summary

We are looking for a committed Electrical Engineer / Technician for site-based electrical testing and commissioning work at the JSW Steel Plant in Toranagallu. The role involves working with industrial electrical systems including HT/LT panels, transformers, protection relays, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing, commissioning, and inspection of electrical equipment at the project site.
• Installation and commissioning of HT Panels and LT Panels.
• Conduct testing and calibration of Protection Relays, Current Transformers (CT), and Potential Transformers (PT).
• Assist in transformer testing, energization, and commissioning.
• Support commissioning of industrial power distribution systems.
• Identify electrical faults and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain testing reports, commissioning records, and documentation.
• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards and site regulations.
• Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and client representatives for project execution.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
• Understanding of industrial electrical switchgear and protection systems.
• Familiarity with transformers, protection relays, CT/PT testing.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork abilities.
