To support the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in Bangalore a dynamic and motivated Electrical & Industrialization Engineer – Traction Power Systems - SHIN.

Requirements

As a key member of the engineering team, interfacing with our production sites, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Production Support: Interface with customer project teams and production sites to support and facilitate the seamless transfer of electrical manufacturing processes to the Bangalore facility. Ensure alignment with local and international standards and support the ramp-up of new production lines. Use Panel 3D to produce detailed wiring lists for production.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Provide on-site technical support to resolve complex electrical issues during the production, assembly, and testing phases. Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and performance requirements.
  • Design & Documentation: Update and maintain electrical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams using industry-standard tools (e.g., Schemelect)
  • * Use wire checking features within our schematic software (Schemelect) to validate designs and perform documentation updates as required.
  • Incorporate modifications from customer project teams and production feedback, ensuring documentation is accurate and revision controlled.
  • Data Management: Manage the creation and modification of Bills of Materials (BOM) and electrical item masters within the ERP system (e.g., ORACLE).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Partner with procurement, production, and quality teams to provide electrical engineering expertise. Collaborate with international stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Initiative: Take decisive action to resolve electrical malfunctions in client projects, manage workflows, and ensure all deliverables meet strict project schedules. Proactively identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.

  • You will need to demonstrate flexibility in your working hours to ensure effective collaboration with production sites and international stakeholders across different time zones.

    Qualification and Requirements

    Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical systems, with a strong background in electrical engineering.

  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., EPLAN, Schemelect, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Electrical Design Principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: ability to work independently and as part of a team, interacting with international colleagues (mainly Europe).
  • Knowledge and proficiency in ERP tools (Oracle is a plus).
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL).

Understanding of manufacturing processes and industrialisation techniques.
