The EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring safety policies and procedures across interior fit-out project sites. The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, client safety standards, and company policies while promoting a strong safety culture across all project locations.

Key Responsibilities:1. Health & Safety Management
  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures for interior fit-out projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory safety regulations and client EHS requirements.
  • Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Identify hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures.
  • Monitor high-risk activities such as working at heights, hot works, electrical works, and material handling.

  • 2. Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain EHS documentation including safety plans, method statements, risk assessments (HIRA), and incident reports.
  • Prepare safety reports for management and clients.
  • Ensure all statutory approvals, permits, and licenses are in place.
  • Maintain records of safety training, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.

  • 3. Training & Awareness
  • Conduct safety induction programs for new employees and subcontractors.
  • Organize regular toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
  • Promote awareness regarding PPE usage and safe working practices.
  • Drive safety campaigns and initiatives at site.

  • 4. Incident Management
  • Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
  • Prepare root cause analysis (RCA) reports.
  • Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure timely reporting to management and client representatives.

  • 5. Coordination & Monitoring
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors for implementation of safety standards.
  • Monitor compliance of subcontractors with safety guidelines.
  • Ensure proper usage of PPE and safety equipment.
  • Conduct emergency drills and preparedness programs.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Environmental Science / Safety Management.
  • Diploma or Certification in Industrial Safety (NEBOSH / IOSH preferred).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in EHS, preferably in interior fit-out or construction projects.

  • Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience in commercial interior fit-out projects.
  • Risk assessment and hazard identification expertise.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple project sites.

  • Preferred Experience:
  • Experience handling corporate/commercial fit-out projects.
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Experience working with reputed corporate clients.
