Your main focus will be on text refinement to enhance clarity, rhythm, and market fluency while maintaining the existing page structure and scene progression. It is crucial to strengthen thematic cohesion, refine character voices, and enhance emotional arcs without altering the illustrated events. Additionally, you will conduct a commercial viability analysis within the fixed structure to ensure the manuscript's quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform line editing for clarity, rhythm, and American market fluency
- Optimize read-aloud experience
- Enhance thematic cohesion within existing scenes
- Refine character voices and emotional arcs
- Analyze commercial viability within the fixed structure
- Provide revised manuscript drafts maintaining original scene structure
- Offer page-by-page refinement suggestions
- Optionally provide commercial analysis and positioning feedback

Qualifications Required:
- Proficiency in proofreading and copy editing
- Experience in children's writing and creative writing
- Strong command of the English language
- Ability to detect errors and enhance readability
- Familiarity with poetry and rhyme scheme

Note: This project is strictly focused on text refinement and does not involve structural redevelopment. The Freelancer must adhere to the existing artwork, scene progression, and character actions while enhancing the manuscript's quality. Any proposed changes requiring new illustrations must be separately agreed upon and approved. The Freelancer will act as an independent contractor and must maintain confidentiality regarding all project materials.

Please ensure all edits align with the current visual pacing and layout. Compensation will be based on agreed milestones through Upwork, with additional revisions requiring approval and funding. Intellectual property rights belong solely to the Client, and confidentiality of all project materials must be maintained. Disputes will be resolved following Upwork's policies.
