Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3+ years of relevant experience.

Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced EDI Java Support Analyst with strong expertise in Healthcare EDI transactions and production support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to HIPAA X12 transactions and Java-based EDI applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, SQL proficiency, and experience in handling healthcare production environments.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Provide L2/L3 production support for Healthcare EDI applications.

Monitor and support HIPAA X12 transactions such as 834, 835, 837, 270/271, and 276/277.

Analyze and troubleshoot EDI transaction failures, mapping errors, and data discrepancies.

Use SQL to investigate data issues, perform reconciliation, and validate transaction processing.

Support Java-based EDI applications by identifying defects and coordinating fixes with development teams.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

Coordinate with business stakeholders, trading partners, and internal teams to resolve incidents within SLA.

Maintain documentation for incidents, known issues, and support procedures.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in Healthcare EDI (HIPAA X12 standards).

Good understanding of Java applications (support perspective).

Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.

Experience in production support (L2/L3 environment).

Understanding of healthcare payer/provider workflows.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Experience with EDI tools such as EDIFECS, IBM Sterling, or Informatica.

Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management tools.

Exposure to REST/SOAP APIs and integration troubleshooting.

Experience working in rotational or 24/7 support environments.
